In this 6 week workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of wheel throwing.
This class is designed for absolute beginners, so no prior experience is necessary. Whether you're a complete novice or have dabbled in pottery before, you'll find this class engaging and rewarding.
During the course, you'll learn essential techniques, step-by-step, as you gain confidence in working with the pottery wheel. Our instructors will teach you how to center the clay, shape it into various forms, and create functional vessels like bowls, cups, and vases. You'll explore the interplay of different tools and learn how to add unique textures and patterns to your creations.
In addition to hands-on instruction, on our 6th week you'll also receive valuable insights into the art of glazing and surface decoration.
Our well-equipped studio offers a supportive and inspiring environment for learning. Each participant will have access to their own pottery wheel and the necessary tools and materials are included. The class size of 6 students is intentionally kept small to ensure individual attention and ample time for personal guidance from the instructors.
